Medieval Gaming of Cache Valley
Hazaa!
We are the Medieval DOS Gaming Society of Cache Valley. We all meet from October 1 to February 28 each year. Many of us live for these few months out of the year. We practically live there and play Fantasy Games and Medieval Games all day and all night. Many of us also like to play Magic Cards. It is very fun! We form alliances and take shifts. We order pizza and live on junk food. We play games that are DOS based, Windows based and even old Nintendo DOS emulated games. We have added network support to all of these games for multi player LAN gaming support under DOS.
We can get older computer parts like EDO memory simms and Pentium MMX 233MHz processors for cheep from local computer stores. With these parts we can build older computers that will better handle the games we play. We are always on the lookout for older game port based Gravis controllers with DOS and Windows 95/98 drivers. Are friends are Fun Unlimited in the Cache Valley Mall.
Anyone who knows C and C++ and can help us code older games for DOS are always welcome. Many of the games we play are form the 80's and late 90's. We add graphics and levels to the existing source code and compile the game as we play. We have some new projects in the works such as a World of Warcraft lookalike for DOS, a new Lord of the Rings game for DOS and a total overhaul of the classic Medieval Game, Abandoned Places. We also do ports of many popular Medieval and Fantasy games over to DOS.
