Logan Peak Bike Route in Cowley Canyon

This bike route is 13 miles over a long, steep ride. There is no water available on the route so you will want to bring some with you. You can fill up with water at the Lodge Campgound before you leave. When you go on this bike ride you will start off seeing hardwood brush at the bottoms. Then as you ride higher the forest changes to aspen groves and sagebrush. After this the forest goes to a mixed conifer. You will finally see timberline atop Logan Peak. At the top of Logan Peak riders are rewarded with a great view of northern Utah's Bear River Range and the Wellsville Mountains. This trailhead is very difficult to ride (even experienced riders may find this challenging). In order to reach the trailhead you must go to the Right Hand Fork (FR081) & Cowley Canyon Road (FR047) junction.
