The National Federation of the Blind decided to hold a fundraiser dinner at Texas Roadhouse on Monday June 14 here in Logan Utah.  Ten percent of the proceeds will go to fund scholarships for the blind community.  This gives the blind a great opportunity to pursue their education.  This particular fundraiser dinner is being done by the Cache Valley chapter of the the National Federation of the Blind.  The National Federation of the Blind is celebrating its 70th anniversary.  It has done many things over the years such as pushing for legislation and laws in education and government for the blind.  This organization is the oldest and largest of its kind.
